I work with HR daily. What once was a hard working department is now filled with useless over paid incompetent people. When the leader isn't an HR person and was shoved out of the ops area - what do you expect??? But even worse lately - it's been completely downhill in the last year or so. Sadly, some great people have left and were then replaced with really substandard people.

There's no HR here anymore. You can discriminate and not follow any rules now. They want to enforce nothing and won't stand up to wrong doing because they are all wimps. Employees know it's a waste of time to contact anyone in HR for anything. Those in our HR department are all cowards and have no integrity - especially the leadership.
Seems like someone in HR management is quickly reducing the black professionals in the HR department.... Sad.
HR department sucks now at apc. Overstaffed + overpaid = CORPORATE WASTE
