A bit confused...Zenith schools open, CCI schools closed?

I'm kind of confused. Which (if any) of the schools that CCI "sold" to Zenith were actually sold, free and clear? Are there any former CCI schools that are immune to the shutdown? I have been following students online who say they are being told that because their school was purchased, they are not closing...

I find it ironic that the campus still up and running in Tampa is the same one that started all this monkey business. Was someone on the board in bed with ECMC before the sale?

Half of the Tempe Online site was Zenith employees and the other half was Everest College Phoenix. Everyone here in AZ was let go regardless and ground campuses closed.

The Zenith purchase did not happen because HLC was gonna remove accreditation and it was a huge pissing contest between DOE, Accreditation agencies, politicians, and the schools both zenith and cci....whole damn pot of them are crooked as ever and couldn't tell the truth if their lives depended on it.

Zenith closed on the purchase of the 56 schools back in February and those are not affected in any way by the closing of CCI.

Everest Institute Rochester, and the Everest Colleges in Phoenix were supposed to close in March but that did not occur because of some undisclosed problems. The press release from CCI indicated that Zenith informed CCI that the deal concerning Phoenix was not going to be consummated and that the closing requirements for Rochester had not been made, therefore neither would be happening.

Bottom line is that the Zenith-owned schools (onground and online) and the majority of operations at the CSC in Santa Ana are operating as usual.

The schools that were purchased in February are owned by zenith. All others in CA are not. Rochester is not and PhX are not.
