Just heard that a few investors and institutions are not happy with the performance of the company and are demanding more changes. Continuing spiralling of expenses even after all the layoffs is not a good sign, company is struggling to make decent sales and betting everything on cloud workspace. The problem seems to be most new start ups are not even interested in desktop apps anymore, there are so many tools available now on the web subscription based cloud services for almost any app a business needs to get going. Mobile management has some legs but desktops and apps are becoming legacy fast in this new world. The market will be keeping a close eye on the next couple of quarter results and will punish the company if there is no turnaround. The outlook does not look great right now.

Citrix is going to get ugly this quarter ...
This convinced me to leave. Activists ruin firms. Let's go beck to the bad old days of being a single product company...great! Just trying to make it easier for a buyer to purchase core assets cleanly
99/1 there will be more layoffs in the next 12 months :-/

50/50 odds on more restructuring to come before the end of this year
What the? If Netscaler is spinned off, what else do these investors expect Citrix to do?
The activist investor group, Elliot Management is putting pressure on Citrix to improve performance by downsizing and spinning off the GoToMeeting and NetScaler businesses. Get ready for a bumpy ride!
