Syntel is a great company like Brutus was a honorable man. Those who have been dismissed, I am sure you will get a better job soon like worthy resources.

Fund managers sell shares and buy back at lower prices. IT professionals are being treated like stocks to improve the companies margin. As per Great Company only non performers have been dismissed. One politician said , read my lips , No taxes and then the taxes were imposed. No Layoffs says the Great Company.

If you are a voter you can choose the government. If you are employees you can choose likewise. Syntel is a Great company. Those inside inside the company, inmates, you are in Great Company

Those who were unfortunate to be dismissed, you will get a better job soon.

Hope that you were compensated as Syntel values honesty, trust, integrity and ethics..in everyone....

Sujay Puthran and Rajesh Save are idiots, not sure how these two can be head of HR Department. They should join banks and work as EMI recovery agents.

Same was the case with Pravin tandon. don't know he is still there or not. he is to threaten resources like anything. But himself don't even know writing even a basic SQL query.

If you are senior resource facing layoff situation, get in touch with inderjeet butt senior PM on logistics mso account for guidance on how to avoid getting laid off using the connection with DD/DM and support groups. he freeely roaming in various department and able to survive without doing anything for last 2 years, he even enjoy hospitality of PDAC deprtment for two months .before moving back to logistic department recently. afterall it is survival that matters, even uselss fellow is considered worthy if surviving- cause the genral saying tht goes about survival of fittest. stop doing tech work and start making high profile conection ,

To force senior people out they were rotated and forcibley made to work in lowend tasks like coding and test case execution and if they successfully do it (which leads to the situation where they cannot be labelled as non technical) the senior people were made to report to junior resources (manager made to report to lead and delivery manager made to report to junior pm, PL3 made to report to PL1 or AP3) till they resign.

While the person is working on customer deliverables mail are circulated that he/she is DNC (delivery non conformance - person doing less valuable work than his position in hierrachy) and once the Dm feels that the new team is all set the targeted person suddnely find himself/herself on bench ready to be fired by HR who starts with the question what is the difference bewtwen u and trainee and threatens that if you dont resign voluntarily in the system you will be given termination letter stating your fired for performance reasons.

A company is termed great if it accepts or rejects it's mistakes publicly.

HR mishandled the complete layoff process. They are to be blamed.

I believe company wants to maintain their margin in market.. but.. the way they treated the employees while doing layoff is not the right way..No criteria.. if you are not manager's puppet and you talk for your rights.. then you are in queue..Atleast they should announced outside the world.. so that if any one going for an interview he/she can tell and other companies will preferred syntel employees first
