Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

How many hours are you getting?

How many hours are you getting as a part timer? The 25 hour rule is strictly enforced in my district, just curious if the level of strict varies by district/ region.

Because of this...one call out today leaves a copy center person, a tech/mod, and a registar person. So 3 peeps to run the shop. This will be a tough day with out much chance of quality customer service, tech work or production in the copy center. This business model flies in the face of tried and true methods of quality work. Is this really the face of american business, provide less for more?

That's actually what made me question this. I have a friend at OD who gets as many hours as he wants, yet other cases of depot time are locked at 25 hours. I was just wondering if the same was true for spls.

I've been at OD for over two years and the no more than 25 hours was in place when I first started. Don't think that Staples was doing anything new when they implemented this. Just sayin'.
