i really wish they would give us a date for closure. I think everyone is 99% sure the SDOs are closing. Our routing has collapsed and make no sense and it doesn't matter. I certainly don't think guys will walk until severence is in the pocket, we have earned that at least

For we folks closing stores, we have been told it's on a weekly basis, not in a lump sum.

Yes that is true you end up with about half of your weekly check once they take out all the taxes. Just another way for staples to screw the employees on the way out I hope them useless people who do the routing lose their jobs to, that dept was the biggest mess Staples ever went with.

Regarding your fancy severance pay out. One important thing staples does not tell drivers is that your severance pay is bonus taxed at a higher tax rate. Therefore your taxed about 45 percent in your pay out,
