People in Framingham and at Quill were given notice that their jobs are going away because of budget issues. Don't know how many.

Did any locations in New York State close within the announcements in the last few days?
The funny thing is Quill is the most profitable division of Staples. After hearing about the stupidity going on during corp visits, I feel we need a change in leadership more than ever. These guys are all just abusive pricks.
Am thankful I have an end date which is fast approaching, so I can (assuming the company doesn't go bust) get all my severance paid out. Hey, maybe Staples can extend itself one of its new small business loans to keep the company afloat! Considering all the downsizing going on, surely the company will qualify as a small business soon enough, right?
sad....but the reality is..it's falling apart...like a cracked foundation, till it all falls down!
