So we have beat last years numbers 5 of the last six days despite hours cut. Our reward, cut an addition 23 hours out of our schedules. Tier 4 store and we only get 250 hours now. Just close the damn doors and get it over with.

Yep, less ink, won't fix the ac/heat, bathrooms stink from no hours for cleaning and the floors look like crap. Most of the time we only have 3 or 4 associates in the store with the GM screaming on the damn radio everyone to the front to cashier, associate to furniture, associate to ink wall and associate to computers. By the way we must get more more accounts and if there is only 4 associates and 16 customers wanting help we just have to make it work without any customer complaints and at least one more account. Whats really scary is the RVP has been in 3 times already this year, when in the past it has been once every two years.
Yes, they seem to be setting you up for closure. Have you seen a decline in ink stock? Is the DM declining to sign off on facility repair tickets?
Now they know you can achieve the goals without the payroll
"Just close the damn doors and get it over with" sums up how I feel about my store as well. Same thing, we keep improving, they keep cutting even more.
