104073...I was fired for being "tardy" a few too many times over the past year ..and tardy was a few minutes here and there due to traffic is during commute. Filed for unemployment but was denied as it was determined I broke company policies. I set up my claim the day I was fired....Filed m first week off...got my determination letter a week later stating denied. I was hired into a new job 3 days after being fired....I was truly blessed. I was an admin assistant. 7 yrs with company

Got fired a month ago....unemployment denied. Thankfully got a decent job at a competitor a week later.
Wake up people!why in the world do you think your going to be saved???...it's over...you know it.. they know it...you can either stay until the end...work your 12th day in a row. . No payroll to set bts. Exhaust yourself until your sick..unrealistic goals to achieve. .but somehow we get it done.. and for what??? No respect...face it....it's over!.
Most posts have been well thought out and CLEARLY from people in the know either still with Staples or recently gone, fired, severanced.... I think the "BC" post was probably Demos...
Bullcrap?95 percent of what I have read on this site has come true,regarding severance,layoffs,and how everything would go down.

What is going to happen is happening, really not much more anyone can say. For those who have the opportunity to get a package type severance get what little you can and move on. If you have a better opportunity elsewhere move on. At the end of the day Staples and the shareholders do not have the employees best interest, they care about lining they pockets only!!!!!! My personal opinion on this whole buyout, third party, reinventing the company bull crap
