Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

BH Directed by hal to make more cuts

of a costghVoluntary layoffs being stepped up, if this is not enough manditory reductions for retirement age and more to take effect. If this does not make further or enough of a cost saving , Q2 end -Q3 will be more redundancies before Hal takeover. This reduces costs for hal with further redundancies planned. Hal pays out less of a redundant package than BHI. Goodbye all. Nice working with you. I am going end of the month. This i was told and sharing with you. You deserve to know. Take care

Thanks for letting us know the first real credible and believable information. I too am going end of month (Aberdeen) and also was told something similar on the cost cutting that BH still has to fulfill for Hal to take ownership. Cant you see that everything from cleaning, towels, sponserships, overtime, holiday changes as well as purchasing told to hold off unless needed. is all to reduce costs . Due diligence , before takeover. you are foolish to believe that the pain is over. Well done to the guy who raised this and i will also affirm what he has said. Good luck to Blue, Hal , and ex BJ alike in your job hunting. take care all.
