Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

A major setback for APOL.

Article on the failure of APOL leadership and the expense involved--having to pay to go BACK to the old system. "Apollo may be required to pay Pearson as much as $5.6 million over the course of a full year to abandon its Adaptive Math Practice system, which perhaps gives a sense of how costly those technical support tickets were." Well done Greg!

301-It is unfortunate that bad karma follows those who make anti-semetic remarks. It is the law of the universe. Repent.

Outsourced support did not help, either. For the life of me, I cannot see why schools would want to lease the use of the online learning system when there is BlackBoard and Moodle and Angel out there. BlackBoard has been buying up the competition so it can corner market share. BlackBoard is out there. Who needs a custom-built online learning system to lease when it has dubious functionality?
