I think they actually plan on starting classes next week (not a good move in my opinion), but do you think there's enough cash in the coffers to survive to July? With CSAC holding funds and no additional Cal Grant coming in, I'm not sure if Heald could even make it another eleven weeks. What do you think? I would say we should start a pool on when Heald'll close, but we're all going to be unemployed soon so no reason to risk our money.

We have been told there will be classes on Monday
@600 do you REALLY believe them when they say there is a buyer? Who would buy a company in as much trouble as Heald is currently in? What would be the purpose? Heald's "good name" is completely trashed. 152 years is not something they can hide behind anymore. Our one possible saving grace was that they blamed everything on CCI. With the latest findings from the Dept of Ed, however, they can no longer pretend that the bad things happened only at Everest and Wyotech--HEALD IS CORRUPT, TOO. Did you actually read the whole letter (all 13 pages not just Eeva's horrible take on it)? Did you listen to the CSAC meeting today? Did you hear what they think of Heald? What about the news--have you seen the report today? No one except those who only think what Eeva tells them to think can say that Heald is going to be fine--That's just silly.
I doubt it. Heald might shutdown over the weekend.
As long as Jack is elbow deep in some poor soul's rectum, there will always be a buyer.
Of course, there's a buyer. We'll hear about it tomorrow.
