They were ordered by the DOE to stop enrolling at all Heald schools. It was also stated that the DOE is pulling title IV funds at a few of the schools. This pretty much shuts CCi down. Believe me, it's not all roses over at the Zenith schools either. Student population keeps getting worse and worse. Without the private loans most students don't qualify for stipends and can't afford rent and living expenses. Enrollment numbers are at an all-time low and I don't believe they have hit bottom.

Enrollments will start again in a few days
Maybe they grew a conscience
that's the big question--why did they stop enrolling and what does it mean and what comes next??
Why did you stop all enrollments on the 13th?
To 90703 we stopped enrollment at all California campus on Monday the 13th
TOTALLY agree, it definitley is not Peter Waller's fault. In fact it started going downhill after he left.
717: I respectfully disagree. I was in the audience 5-ish years ago when Peter acknowledged the fact that online programs that graduated less than 10% of their incoming freshman was not a legitimate business. He was ousted by the board shortly thereafter. I'm sure he is not totally clean, but I'd bet he is cleaner than JM and the rest of the ELT criminals.
All the issues track back exactly to Peter W days in charge. It's what happens when you put marketers in charge of business
707- Lmao...soo true!
Somewhere, a man named Peter Waller is holding a cigar and a snifter of cognac, laughing softly to himself as he slowly shakes his head knowingly.
They are still enrolling new students as of today.
Everest and whyotech are being taught out
If Heald is going to close, I would think that Everest and Wyotech in California will close too. How could Heald be broke, but Everest and Wyotech still have money?
It should be disperse to restitution, no?
If CCI files BK, do they still have to pay the 29.6 million to Uncle Sam?
BOOM!!!
BOOM!!!
Act 2: Criminal prosecution of the ELT. Don't drop the soap Jack.
