my product line sales group in Houston had one cut last Wednesday and another one cut today at 11 am. That's 3 total out of 16 since Jan 1st. After the 1st layoff in january, management brought over a guy from the GBU to join sales group so that he wouldn't get laid off by GBU. What a joke...protect GBU people from layoffs by transferring them into sales groups that already had layoffs.

Report them! Off with their heads!! That sounds borderline illegal. Not to mention F'd up and unethical. They are setting themselves up for success once it turns around and everyone else scrambles to hire good talent (which they were forced to let go).. Then they shine and blame they other depts. for not doing a good job..all they have in mind is their $$. BUT what they don't realize is what goes around /eventually / comes around. Shady business people doesn't last forever. You know like the Jeff Skillings...,Martha Stewarts.... B Madoffs...B Ebbers....& one of my favorites...the Allen Stanfords. Yes, I know that's dramatic, but they all thought they could get away with dirty, slime ball, greedy business too.
What product line? This really isn't surprising. They have been playing shuffle the shells to protect people.
