Has anyone gotten their legal paperwork yet? This whole thing has been handled so horribly -- and I've seen many layoffs go down in the past decade. It's complete BS that many of us still haven't gotten the full paperwork package, yet we're expected to get it back to them ASAP.

Viacom HR were the biggest bunch of ass clowns I ever encountered in my life. Truly truly incapable. These comments only reinforce that.
Anonymous82307: I'm talking about the actual paperwork that we should have gotten last week.
Anonymous82383: Completely agree. It's been appallingly handled, and I'm very curious why the legal paperwork has been held up for so long. Of course, we're expected to return it within 45 days from the day we were laid off (NOT RECEIPT) or lose our severance and benefits. Are they trying to limit the amount of time we have to talk to lawyers?
I was laid off 2 times in my 27 long career, this is the third time. It's 2015 and we have all the technlogy and knowledge accumulated over decades, yet this is the worst handled separation I've ever seen in my life.
I got my package outlining my package the day I was told, last Wednesday. However, I was told a separate document would be mailed to me to sign and return by April 25th. I have not received it yet. I will email my HR contact later this week and inquire about it.
