And they will make more money because they have experience with wft systems and products. The ones that didnt lose their jobs will still be overworked and underpaid while the ones who got a severence will get a paid vacation and will come back more overpaid.

This is an absolute Fact, it has happened.
And i would bet when oil prices come up and it gets busy again, all the ones who signed the Voluntary seperation will get their old job back and make more salary
