The housing program had about 30 students at the time of the announcement. Sounds like they did not have any housing staff aside from ra's and the director of student affairs.
It is now around 350.
Student body in Fall 2013 was 404. Most recent # on internet. Likely fewer now.
I can tomorrow. I will just call the registrar and ask.
Can anyone update us on AiJax's numbers for ssb and housing numbers?
How many students did the housing program have before closing down? I assume housing staff is getting laid off?
Absolutely no doubt this is one that will close. Jax has always had issues with low enrollment.
If closing and students have 6 months to vacate and find their own housing, it makes no sense to run a July start that will complete in September, other than July is the start of the fiscal year. I believe enrolling with a closure and teach out looming is a major Title IV violation. Also, when I worked at the campus (won't say which one) we never had a calendar scheduled out until about 3 to 4 weeks prior to the start. so if you see a July calendar that is rare indeed.
how many students at Jax? less than the 500? always had low enrollment..falls in the category of schools to close.
What does that look like for DOH and RLC?
