Just as an FYI the company is so lazy they do not change access to your Weatherford phone voicemail. It has been over a month since my layoff and I was able to change my greeting to tell all callers to go F themselves. If you got your severance already you have nothing to lose.

Yea, I want the number as well. I don't believe you, one bit.
The only way the person lowered themselves was by working for Weatherford in the first place, that is the lowest point of their lives.
No, not a future job with weatheford. But eventually there will be another job, perhaps it's in the oilfield or maybe another industry. There's always a chance that you may cross paths with someone who heard the message. For the most part they most likely won't take it personal, but it does speak volumes about the character of the ex employee. Who knows, maybe they work for a company you applied to work with and the they get wind about it during the interview process. That could be a deciding factor. I do see the humor and therapeutic value in changing the message, but I also think the person lowered themselves.
Future customer for who weatherford? Who gives a rats ass - good job I'm betting the message is great
I would also like to hear the message!
Whats the number? I wanna hear this message, should be hilarious!!!
Funny...as long as you don't mind burning a few bridges
Nothing but your dignity and character, good job taking the high road, hopefully you haven't told anyone to F off who may be a future customer.
Loooooooooooooooool! Genius!
