Did you know that the tax burden individual taxpayers pay was 45% of federal revues in 1950 but is now 63% of federal revenues? What else changed? Yes, corporations have been paying less and less. But we live in the most economical unequal America in....well, forever. So the brunt of that increase has been made up for by the wealthy, right? Well, the richest one percent of Americans pay 23.7 percent of total taxes and receive 21.6 percent of total income. Pretty close. So we already basically have a flat tax. The rich don't pay a higher percentage of their income than the middle class. Are they making it up in state and local taxes. Republicans believe in the right to work. Democrats believe in the right not to work. Republicans believe that everyone should contribute to society. Democrats believe that society should contribute to unwilling. Clinton signed into law that anyone receiving public assistance needed to actively seek employment to continue receiving assistance. Why did Obama immediately reverse Clintons law on public assistance as soon as he took office? If submitting to and passing a drug test is a necessary part of being hired for a job, why is it not a necessary part of collecting public assistance? The money for public assistance is taken from the paychecks of people who had to pass a drug test to get and keep the job to earn that paycheck the government steals money from to give to drug addicts.

So, your alternative proposal is to have Federal institutions with "God" actually in their name? Do you envision a "Federal Department of God's Divine Will"? A "Federal Treasury of God's Brownie Points"? A "Federal Bureau of God's Biblical Justice"? And whose God? Are you serious or are you just trolling for reactions? I honestly hope that you don't work at the same campus I work at.

Does the idea of the students that you serve receiving free money to attend fill you with rage? And we have a very diverse student body and staff. What do you make of them? I've been assuming that the hate filled posts on here ("hood rats" etc) were just trolls and not employees, but you seem like you really work for us. I would really appreciate an honest response.

Helping the poor is fundamental, I agree with it and support it. I do not support Medicaid, food stamps, welfare, cash aid for those who cannot pass a drug test. all this uplifting has caused lifetime and generational dependents of the gov't thus securing the D vote.
