Does anyone know which departments are being targeted in this week's layoffs? It's interesting to me that the interim CEO said we would be getting raises and bonuses yet this coming layoff seems like it will be the worst one in years...

Anonymous79348 - HR trained you well, how can you say that a company is good to work for in the middle of layoffs? There are tens of thousands of companies that do not lay off people on a regular basis like Mattel does, so to call us a 'great place to work' is simply not in place.

It was a volunteer offer to Mattel Employees who were eligible for the package. You had to meet certain requirements. It sounds like there are several from every location. Mattel is a very good company to work for regardless of the outcome of the layoff. They will come back.
