We have a lot of people on here who know nothing about financial aid, yet keeping coming on here and droning on and on about loan debt (Camden Kid - I'm looking at you). Well, you really need to not talk out of your ass. Let's use Latonya whats-her-name as an example. She says she has $60K in fed debt (unlikely, since it's over the lifetime aggregate limit, but whatever). To start off, looking at all of our tuition rates, you need to understand that MOST of that borrowing would have been for stipend checks to live on. Our educational programs are taught at a 6th grade level, and we have many, many students who work full-time while attending. Why couldn't LaTonya? Her debt would have been less than half of what it is. Anyway, at $60K, her monthly payment would be $391 per month. She completed Direct Loans Entrance Counseling, which is interactive and conducted by ED. She had to correctly answer many questions showing that she was FULLY aware that she was taking out loans. She didn't care, and she never had any intention of paying the taxpayers back. The Corinthian Avengers nonsense that Camden Kid started is just whiny Socialist propaganda. He openly writes that he believes that all education should be free and unlimited. We should pay for people like him, who are unemployable, to keep getting doctorates in useless subjects, and give them welfare to live off of while they do it. It's transparently self-oriented. We should just ignore all of them. I guarantee the American public and powers-that-be will.

I know Suggs as well, she is a real winner.
LS utilized her Associates stipend until that went away. She then decided/realized that "SHE" could get more money (stipend) if she went for her Bachelors. So I assisted her completing the CE documentation, because of this I know first hand that this is a honest and true and true statement.
Her CE document went out and due to that fact that she knew it was to obtain more stipends, she had that thing signed and back within the day. Getting her to do anything else resulted in her being placed into at "Red" status for no contact and loss of information.
She knew what she was getting into as did all of the others. YOU ARE ALL ADULTS act it and pay your bills!
YOU ALL KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DOING!
It is free, for those students who never had any intention of going to class or paying back the loan.
OP: Do you think that everyone reading your post knows that the $391 per month is with the THIRTY YEAR repayment schedule??? She should have been more responsible than to get that much in debt, but please!
Free college for everyone? HELL NO! And I'm a lifelong....card carrying Democrat and I think that would be a foolish waste of my money. I'm not paying for some Re-pubic-hair kid to go to school to major religion or philosophy! I believe everyone should obtain a post secondary education but they should do it like I did; PAY FOR IT!
