Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

So I hear the Citrix SaaS division is doing more cuts and re-orgs with 60 day performance improvement plans.

Citrix SaaS is not hitting it's numbers so they are placing good people on performance improvement plans to dodge severance costs and to make the environment toxic. Any thoughts?

Guess who WAS on the list? VMware, Cisco, and even Ultimate Software! For years we've been sold that Citrix is the better culture, the better company, "employee value" this and that. Truth is, it was lies. VMware isn't the bad place that everyone makes it out to be it seems...

Good job Dave Henshall, you got your 2 points of operating margin. You did it by KILLING Citrix's culture. We all lose now.

I don't have any insight into that department but if true that is depressing. Just another sign of how toxic things are getting and how the exec. team talks about core values, respect, and Citrix's unique culture but how it has actually become just a lip service / talking points.

I mean wasn't Saas 4Q revenue up by roughly 6.6% and yearly up by 11.78%? It sounds like the bean counters are running amok and not happy with decent numbers but just making up target numbers based on hopeful wishing.

Didn't SaaS also let go like 60+ people in 2014 before the 2015 layoffs?
