Syracuse's basketball team -- the part of the university where the abuse occurred -- is being severely punished. Three scholarships per year and suspension of the coach is very severe. The situations are not analogous. Syracuse's situation did not pervade the entire institution.

OP is right! This has a lot to do with this site since everybody things that the mighty "real" schools can't do anything wrong. Now in 2 weeks we have 2 of the real schools committing fraud.
