Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

If I could just get my 4-5k in severance and my 10-12k in bonus all my worries will be gone because the 200k I made the last 4 years Was overrated. I didn't need health and dental for my family of 8 or a company paid vehicle. I like buying my own boots and uniforms oh and the vacation pay along with holidays were not really a perk. Don't get me started on the lousy 10% 401k match and pention, along with stock options and vehicle discount buying programs. Yah I'll settle for a 60 Inch and a used play station. Don't want to over extend my self! I assume most people on this site worried about there jobs Evan when they had One. Working is a marathon, one should worry very little about a few weeks pay or bonus. Look at the big picture. Learn your lesson save some cash, live within your means and focus on your job! The money will come and go your character and work ethic will never be forgotten!
