We wondered why they built the big facility in Katy. They are going to take the left overs and move them to Katy. This makes perfect sense to corporate/big stock holders and the head choppers. We've been told for the past few years that 'we are one Weatherford' but we thought that just meant we would stick together as a team not all be compacted into one facility.
The problem with the US today is that a big group of investors came in and bought up a lot of smaller comanies, put them out of business and moved several product lines into one facility, then they discovered, too late for the working group, that they were too much to handle now we are paying the price but they are still making money, of course they have to move from country to country to get out of paying taxes and larger salary's to the upper crust. OMG I was hoping it would be better for my children and grandchildren than it was for me, but I fear they are going to have to pay as well. A lot of us are in the same boat, I'm glad I have a place to VENT.
