Management has no real world experience leading previous to EDMC. If you have ever worked for another company, there are seasoned successful leaders that have worked for other companies. This management lives works inside a "fish bowl" and doesn't know how to manage a successful company. They manage in fear because they lack the real world experience. They have replicated a morning huddle enough times. Students were given to them because someone was let go and someone said, hey you know how to manage, let me give you laptop and sit in the isles. When was the last time you saw a leader role up their sleeves and work? KKR will bring in some outside experience and it will then look like office space where every manager is asked "so what do you really do from 9-5?".
You are on to something here. I know at least two Deans at different campuses that are products of the same lackey AI system. Both went to Ai, then worked for Ai, then got their Masters at Argosy (AKA EDMC). Because Ai had a revolving door of management at high speed, they just waited around to fill in the gaps and now they run the ship. Their thinly veiled experience and sad degrees from a failing institution would not hold up in any other world. Any wonder the ship is sinking.
This is just like the nepotism in Hollywood, only no talent and going bankrupt.

He continued to get his online masters degree at AUO and now he leads all you camels to the mirage of hitting a start. Maybe you should have a Friday pot luck where everyone takes the day off celebrating a missed start. SR has never worked outside this company in a management role. There are employees here at ai who have degrees in MAA and work here getting paid 40k a yr shuffling paperwork at the call center they call recruiting. This company is a joke that has taken advantage of students and the government. Now they have to back pedal and justify the validity of the company.

Statistics are based on selected populations by who? Therefore causing false and misleading information. Ohio's population is what compared to Illinois, New York, California, Colorado, and Florida? How many jobs are available and what is the demographical market?
The real issue on this campus is the Dean and President. They are setting the program up to fail. They are the two biggest idiots to ever run a campus. The Dean made the schedule. The Dean realized she screwed up and now the Dean made extra classes on ground for us. This campus would be better off without her fake expertise and fashion degree. It is not the program that is the problem, it is the Dean who is under qualified to manage anything above an 8th grade level. Sprowls would still be around if she knew what was good for us.

That's why gainful employment will make the AIs die. Congress saw the mass profits because of lax federal regulations that allowed apollo and edmc reap in the 2007-12 hayday. Goldman Sacs greed caused the house of cards to fall. WHERE will you be when it happens?

I cant believe they are even still teaching that there. The Media Arts Animation has had the worst of all majors getting a job. There was never enough jobs even before AI came about with this major as a degree let alone the thousands of mediocre ones they tried to pump into the system every quarter. On top of that the matrix has changed. Its all going overseas where you can hire a 3D animator at the top of the game for about 7,000 a year salary with no befits or overtime pay. 2 Major animation studios just went BK in 2014 laying off hundreds and hundreds of artists and said don't look for them to hire people back once they are on their feet. Cheap and talented labor is just too enticing and easy to do with the internet and digital artist who are more then happy to make $4 an hour in their country when most are making 35 cents.
Or should I say ironically.
Which is coincidentally the largest program at the school.
