I have to agree that falsifying grades and attendance is serious business. That is outright fraud, and the school should no longer be eligible to receive Title IV funding. I know the feeling is that non-profits don't get penalized, but that's not true. If you read ED's program review (audit) reports and ED's OIG audit reports, most of the penalties do go to non-profits. Sometimes they think they are above the law and can do what they like. Let's hope ED shows some balls and comes down hard on these idiots!

Real schools like UNC pay when endowment donations and research grants get reduced, or cut all together. UNC is a research institution that has a proven record of producing measurable, tangible, and published results. CCI is a chop shop. Also, when real schools are told to provide all documents...they provide them. Stop trying to use your lord and savior obamas moral equivalency tricks. Cheating scandal, falsifying grades and attendance is what it is regardless of the institution. If you're appalled and outraged then be consistent and very worried. State ran system and "highly reputable" and pushing lots more students and T4 then little old Corinthian. Based upon previous logic, every higher up including the University President, Provost, Chancellor and Board of Regents should be prosecuted. Where is the state AG, the DOE, Harkin, Durbin, CFPB and all others demanding investigations?
