Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

Honestly I dont understand

I dont understand why spending has been so out of control. Recently i found out that BP DMs were had to cut costs. So i asked some of the DMs what and where they would cut. What they told me floored me. Golf club memberships, Fitness club memberships etc. not just for them but the whole BP. What the hell! Who allowed this. Oh its to take the customer out, BS every friday they were off golfing. if its just a few BPs here that i know of imagine how many in the US.

The only reason im writing this is because JDE 9.1 sofar has been a joke, and i havent been able to get on all morning.

At this point I'm more worried about the company crashing. The monthly report for January will be deceiving. If it shows improvement it is only because of the layoff's. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, we are descending.

Just received word that were stopping with our cycle counts until March 6th. It's do to JDE 9.1 issues affecting other plants and causing them to fall behind. Perhaps their nervous of the servers crashing at the end of the month.

It was IT's idea to upgrade to the new JDE 9.1. Be prepared for JDE crashes happening more often because as soon as its up and running again, there will be more layoffs. If I was in IT, I'd crash it everyday to ensure job security.

Honestly, you are simply too honest or naïve. There are still managers at WFT who have abused their P-Cards for years. They go out to facilities spend a few days and drink all night at the bar in the hotel where they are staying with some of their cronies. The bar tabs run in the hundred's of dollars. They simply show up as room expense on their hotel bills. They submit their monthly expenses to their manager who taught them how to cheat in the first place. The expenses are then approved.
