Not sure about the chips--historically that was so, but now? I wonder if APOL is becoming too toxic for even the soulless Washington political shills to touch? It appears that greater and greater headwinds are facing APOL and though I do not see a complete collapse, I can see UoP (after a purge at the top) returning to the model of supporting working adults at a reasonable price. Perhaps this will save the ship from sinking. If that comes to pass, APOL (and really the entire for-profit industry) will have less money to purchase chips.
APOL will just look into buying more chips from the DC political casino. They bought Jane Oates but they need to buy some much bigger chips. EDMC just bought John M. Danielson. If University of Phoenix is dead set on becoming an HBCU, can APOL buy Rod Paige?
