The colleges are scamming Vets by using the GI Bill money to Receive the title 4 funding. Its the 90/10 rule and is why these colleges go after the Vets, without the GI Bill Students almost every for profit college would be cut off from the title 4 money and close its doors, That is the Scam! Google it and educate yourself on the facts. <----- this person posts on this site over and over and over again... we get it... funny thing though, this person needs to google and learn a little more about it, yes veterans benefits do not count towards 90/10, that is not a scam, that is a rule. if the rule changes and somehow the school magically manipulated the funding and hide it or something, then that would be a scam; but the rule is 90/10. ...veterans can go where ever they want basically, they have a really great benefit...schools accepting the benefit is not a scam. students taking out loans when it is already paid for when they are already getting stipends for housing and then saying the school scammed them is the news...educate yourself//////////// "last post # 321" --> yes some schools do exceed the new GI bill limit per academic year, this is not just for profit schools though, sorry if you thought it was. I feel very strongly about this because my best friend goes to a local school, not for a profit and it is far over the gi bill limit; around here people will know the school, but the fact is, nobody will really know the school outside of this area/state, so it is not like she is going to best the school in the state, but she is going to a school in the area for her degree far exceeds the limit even after the yellow ribbon program; (she chose it because of proximity to home) very familiar with veterans benefits and how they work; a school accepting them is not a scam; be annoyed that the 90/10 rule does not count military aid; which as everyone knows has been talked about changing. it's not like the 90/10 rule is a special exception for, for profits... its for all schools.
