Does somebody know what is going to happen to students who formerly attended Heald College and are in debt almost 35000? I am really interested in shutting the school down. I hhope they can come to an agreement because the amount of loans they took out was just ridiculous

Contact the Debt Collective. They're easy to find on the Internet. But please be patient. There are thousands of people doing the same thing--asking for debt relief from Corinthian Colleges.
OP, I don't know that there's anything in the works to help graduates of these programs. Here's information for students who are in school when it closes, and perhaps those who graduated close to when the school closed. It's directly from the Department of Education website. https://studentaid.ed.gov/repay-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/closed-school. If I were you, I'd set up a Google alert for "Heald College" or "for-profit colleges" because there's a lot going on in this area, and things could change.
Again, trolls are showing who they are. If you worked for Heald or attended Heald you'd know that the AAS degrees are around $28,000 - $35,000 and that's only if you graduate on time. If you had to go 1/2 or 3/4 time, failed a few classes, or even took night classes, your total cost would be more than that. Astronomical.
568 May I ask what program did you take and the year you graduated at Heald? Are you currently employed?
Is it true that students who graduated from Heald (for profit era), are screwed? Their loan are not dischargable due to research failure upon entering the school.
589- Nope you're the shit man. It doesn't take very long for the balance to double or triple with fees and interest piled on top.
568 Really? Just for an associate degree? I call bullshit.
Most of the leeches on here believe they are entitled magically to unlimited tax dollars and blame you for the outcome. They missed 5th grade when they started to discuss complex systems and how the failure of one part destroys everything. Corinthian was a champ at sucking in dollars from the federal government, but their reputation and value is now being accurately shown as worthless.
