Warning about working for 3rd party delivery

Please! Please! Please!Do not do this!I was conned into being talked into making 2000 a week, and buying my own truck, runs to the post office at three in the morning,Yada,Yada!First of all it will cost you money(more than they tell you just to get started). Then when you get your check it will amount to about 11 bucks an hour for 65-75 hours worth of work.Thats because anywhere from 11-15 deductions can be taken out a week.Yes,that's right,up to 15 deductions! Then when you get home you need at least another hour or two of your own time to figure out your financials and your next day.As one fellow staples driver to another,do not do this!I know how hard all of you have worked for staples, and you do not deserve this!I lasted one month and netted 1000 dollars.Yes,that's right,250 a week take home!It was for lasership down in Miami. They must have lost 2 dozen staples customers alone while I worked for them.Oh by the way,I am stuck with the truck till I sell it.My cousin says it's the same deal for ontrac out west. They are all the same blueprint. The northeast will have lowlifes trying to lure you in as well.Should be soon.Learn from me,stay very far away......please!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. We're having ontrac coming by next week trying to recruit some of the staples drivers. After hearing all of your guys info it sounds like you're doing double the work for half the pay. F that! hope you guys find something better and good luck

Please look into and get all info, not just listen on here. Some drivers will be good at it and make money, not for all though. Very sceptical about someone from CO as a manager now. CO wasn't ran very well to begin with. All supervisors were already hands off...in this economy some would like to get a job. Of course can't expect to get old routes back. C'mon, use some common sense. It is a business to be ran. If staples ran there delivery so well and managers and sups treated all so well, we wldnt be closing SDOS.

Not going well out here in Colorado.I transferred over to 3rd party carrier as a manager.Four guys have already quit. They were told they would get there old routes but its nothing like that. There are fragments of your route sandwiched between stuff the guys have never delivered before. At times you are like an appliance or furniture mover.Guys will be burnt out real quick at this pace.Worst thing is I am told to be hands off.I feel helpless
