Shitting down Denver office? There's a rumor that GXT/ION is shutting down in Denver (among other centers worldwide). True?

A friend of mine who works at Ion in Perth has informed me that the office was shut down and everyone there is out of work. This downturn will last a long time. Anyone out there remember 1986?
