Proof that Ryan Lance and COP are loars, since these cuts were neither fair or transparent! After this, I wish that they gave me a package so that I could leave with both my dignity and some cash!

I don't blame them guys. Actually a smart move; get your bonus and bail. I don't see how they can put up with the lady who (tries)runs that place or her little rats . While I didn't work under her directly, she tried to push her weight around. All I can say is that you guys can get a whole lot more pay and less bs working anywhere else. So if you stay and get laid off , it's a blessing.
Waddell Ranch In Penwell is in for a huge surprise. Its bad enough management really sucks there. Calling them micro-management is an understatement. No need for layoffs there, pumpers are jumping ship due to this....
Busy and good staff were let go, the people that had nothing to do stayed. How do they pick people?
So they were targeting people that wre rated good?
Hahahahaha..I can tell you from experience in the Canada Region that Mr. Lance's comments are BS. If anything, some of the BEST employees were let go in the Canada Office. People close to retirement were literally asking to be let go - unfortunately for them, their wishes were not granted. The picks they made in Canada were about nothing more than how much money you made and how much a$$ you kissed, nothing else
I understand that the regions likely have a lot of autonomy to make their own decisions, but the apple doesn't fall far from the tree
Eric Brunson got let go last week from Midland
Layoffs by End of April 2015
Ryan Lance said that layoffs will be done by the end of April 2015 Ryan Lance told employees this morning during his annual VCIP town hall that reduction of ConocoPhillips' direct workforce by 10% will begin soon and will be finished by April. He said that there would be no early retirement packages offered and that he "trusts his managers to know who the good performers are". He said that the cuts would be fair and transparent and that the severance package that is on the books would apply.
