Every major company here in LA has a poisonous culture driven by ultra egocentric executives. No executive anywhere in the world has a bigger ego trip than a typical LA executive, this culture percolates into middle management and grunt ranks. If you've worked outside of LA you'll know what I am talking about. We, the workers, are all just disposable numbers here at Mattel, but this applies to WB, Disney, Universal, Fashion Industry, Toys, etc... Cannot do anything about it...

I call BS on this ignorant remark. While it's true that Mattel management in El Segundo is crammed full of like-thinking USC B-school douche clones, I can say having worked on both coasts that LA does not have a monopoly on D-bagginess. It's more of the mentality of large, publicly traded corporations. Having said that I can understand the frustration you are all are feeling and do not begrudge you that.

yup and bringing the superficial west coast douchebags to the offices in EA and NYC have done nothing but pollute the atmosphere with their superficiality towards people and double speak rhetoric which has brought the morale into the proverbial shitter.
