Halliburton still treats their employees better than Schlumberger does. I have made many friends with Halliburton employees during my 40 + years with Schlumberger. We compare notes regularly and Halliburton does treat their employees better and with more respect than Schlumberger (benefits included). Was not the case some 30 years ago. Schlumberger won in all areas hands down. But time and greed does change a company like Schlumberger. Most new hires go to Schlumberger to get trained and in a couple of years they move on to better things by leaving the company. Don't expect to see longevity with Schlumberger in the years to come Just a sign of the times. It will take some time but down the road this will hurt Schlumberger's market share.

I've worked for both and there isn't a dimes bit of difference between the two especially during times like this.
Well, Schlum is a French company.
