I'm surprised Mattel filed as technically I think you only have to if you have a lot of employees and are laying off over one third at a site or closing the site (and even then there are exemptions). Despite the large numbers it wasn't one third. So this really isn't a warn act situation (and if it was they have to give two months notice).
