HLC is coming for our accreditation visit in 3 weeks. They are training us on what to say so that all of our answers are the same...what happens if HLC decides not to accredit us anymore?

@Anonymous69934, gainful employment is being reviewed by Judge John D. Bates. He is likely to overturn all of the rules...... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_D._Bates
HLC is just a rubber stamp. As long as they get paid they don't care. The shuttering of EDMC will start July 1 as this horseshit organization gets blasted by the Gainful Employment rules taking effect.
The visit is a midterm spot check in accordance with that regional accrediting body's policies. There are very few risks involved--especially the risk of an adverse action. They want to ensure that the college is still in compliance with the criteria and has the good faith potential to remain in compliance for the duration of their 10-year grant of accreditation dating back to 2009-10.
@Seriouslyunimpressed (Compliance), actually the HLC is the larger organization for a regional accrediting body. But the system is so corrupt that the HLC rubber stamps questionable for-profit schools despite all of their glaring deficiencies, making accrediation a joke......http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/09/ashford-university-for-profit-college_n_833735.html
The HLC doesn't mean squat--it has zip to do with funding idiots they are not the regional accreditation body. HLC is just this crap organization that sounds real good when recruiting minorities and veterans--icing. Aren't there jobs at the bus station or something for you EDMC nothings?
warning with recheck later for correction or loss of federal aid ability/no profit ie kicking that can for which we are masters at
No Accreditation, no Federal Funding.... They usually site defeciencies and give a "grace period" to correct. Another party "kickin the can down the road...."
