Thread regarding Heald College layoffs

Heald Executive Timing Response from CSAC meeting will be telling....

If Eeva sends an email today, we have some favorable outcomes. If we receive an email on a Monday, expect not so favorable outcomes (potential closure talks)

So no real word today. But many words transpired during/ after the live feed. That's the most information we've received in years

Having 50% of the students lose access to a chunk of their funding will kill the college very quickly. Miracles can happen, but I am unsure what it is that would cause CSAC to reverse their position. I suspect that the best we can hope for is an injunction that prevents CSAC from implementing their decision. Not good odds.

This is another blow to Heald. Another reason not to buy Heald.

Even though CSAC only affects 4500 students of 9,000... It is a major factor of the sustainability of Heald. The state has indicated that Heald is not financially stable.
