I guess that's a good sign. I'm looking for some positives today. Have been with Heald a long time. I hope we survive CCi. My resume is ready, but I'm not sending it out until I have to.

Yes, padlocks on the door. For what it's worth, I started preparing several months ago by creating a budget, lowering my costs where possible, and putting money ino savings. I'm prepared to wait it out. I hope others will consider this approach instead of resigning. But, to each his own.
OP - What will trigger you to send out your resume? Padlocks on the doors? Unless your finances allow you significant flexibility, waitning till the last minute is risky at best. Most CCI employees (and employees at many other career schools) are already looking. When/if the doors close at Heald, that will dump a number of job-seekers into your local market all at the same time. Suggestion: start now, and create options on your timeline, not CCIs.
Good luck to you! I am in the same boat. I would get resumes out sooner rather than later. The field is competitive right now.
