All districts and/or markets now have "closure captains" to help stores with the closing process. If your store isn't announced as closing yet I would expect it to be forthcoming. If they have designated people in your district for this that means there will be a lot of closures.

So what you are saying is that us, Tenured Store Mangers are the ones who will get the AX, and that its not based on performance ?
Why are the tenured managers being offered severance I thought it was based off of some arbitrary ranking system
Certain tenured store managers have already been offered severance packages for packing up and calling it quits. Once those store managers get notice the store is assigned a closing captain will be assigned. Everyone is trying to remain silent about this but it's happening all around.
How reliable is this info? Can someone confirm or provide more details?
