Thread regarding Ernst & Young layoffs

I disagree with some of the comments made. This is because i know a partner of the firm and he had to actually tell some of the employees that they were being laid off. He had no choice and hated every second of having to do it, but it has to be said that they cannot afford to have as many employees as they currently do, but they still do not want to lay off any employees. They even have the LAP and the low-pay program to avoid the lay offs. So, when some employees on here are saying they are 'disposable' and 'the partners are greedy', you have to know that it is not the case everywhere.
