hey its quite here and with everything we go thru some one should be able to comment on the recent layoffs at parker hannifin. i personally know two folks who were let go during last 2 months and it's kind of silent approach to layoffs without having a big bang but you do see that folks are being let go, some of the with no reason at all. i think the managment is to blame and we should go and fire them first before we layoff good working folks here. dont get me wrong, i think that parker is a great company but i simply have hard time seeing some of our solid folks being let go.

I do agree with ya on that because if the management was so concern about the employees they should have made other previsions such make make management take a 20 percent pay cut for a year at least and the money they have made they could have hire those people back to work but it won't happen and I do feel that they the management did the employees wrong by letting them go and I don't think not just the Global economy I think it is just greed....
Just to let you all I worked for parker for a long time at Cleveland Ohio and I saw alot of good people over the yrs got let go and they claim it is the ecomony but i think management once to put more money in their pockets and don't give care about the employees anymore and that is just the way I feel about it
