Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

Next round of layoffs

The next round of layoffs will be the week of 1/6/2025.

As Gainwells financial situation continues to erode and decline the way they have chosen to gain some cash flow is to cut heads.

More proof that the employee has no value to Gainwell. It’s all about money.

It may be time for a mass exodus from Gainwell. The company is such a bad company they should have difficulty finding employees.

Bored in Sacramento: I was told by an infrastructure manager that it was more than 200.

In one of the midwest accounts there are people either leaving/laid off everyday. No idea what is happening. I am getting emails if not two people at least there is one person daily.
I hope they are getting better options.

I don't know anything about IT, management, or infrastructure and that is why i am keeping my job.

NTT is taking on a few of the upper management because they're familiar with infrastructure. How ironic is it that those same individuals have caused many of the pitfalls and issues exhibited at Gainwell. How come bad people always land on their feet.

That would be the California PHM account. Gainwell messed that up. Couldn’t deliver what they promised to get the contract. Missed all SLAs. Worked on the account for over a year. Basically got fired by the state.

The technology company of Gainwell put everything into a spreadsheet (yeah you heard that right). Then they had the spreadsheet crash. Lost all data. Over 13 months worth of poor work was lost. But they still billed Cali full price. Over $200M for the year and delivered nothing. This is how Gainwell operates. Probably best to not hang your career on a company like that.

Wishing everyone everywhere a Happy New Year! Does anyone know if gwt is still offering severance to replaced employees? Heard something on here about possible change of employees to NTT data. Is that true? Read that there was also there was a big contract awarded from CA with worth of $1 Billion. Did that happen? If it did gwt will have to ramp up staffing which means they will need employees as opposed to laying people off. Great news.
