Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

Two more executives hired?

Why? Why do we need more useless people in Estero? We are constantly told to tighten our spending. No money for raises!

Oh trust me they aren't going to Estero! They will be at the new executive office in Atlanta. The new Shant, Chris Berg, is going to work from there primarily. The rest of the Delta crew will split their time between their million dollar vacation homes in SWFL and Atlanta. They truly don't care about anyone beneath them. They came from Delta where it's common to grind the little man down to a nub in order for them to get their big bonuses.

Hertz has dozens upon dozens of VPs, directors, senior directors, etc.. who work remote. A few of them even go to baseball games during work hours and post it on their social media accounts.

Everyone else below Sr. Director is considered replaceable.
Hertz is extremely top heavy, it wastes a lot of money.

Gil will cash out in the next 18 months. I will be surprised if he stays beyond 2025 before he launches his golden parachute.

Gil's compensation includes a $1.5 million annual salary, a target annual incentive bonus of at least 150% of his base salary, and a guaranteed incentive bonus of at least 112.5% of his base salary. He also receives restricted stock units that vest over three years, performance stock grants of $33 million, and annual equity grants that are expected to have a fair market value of at least $8 million starting in fiscal year 2026.
So his paycheck every 2 weeks is $58K.

So sad to see the revolving door at Estero and high salaries being thrown at them while our staff in some areas are at min wage.

It’s criminal what the executives are doing ra-ing the company foe every dollar while trying to make it up on the backs of the employees

Because they blame the failures on the operators. Its never the executive teams fault when things fail. They take no blame its always the field.

They failed with an automated Delta initiative. Why would we put someone in charge with that record?

Gil spreading the wealth in money grab. More execs to agree with all his stupid ideas! THIS IS NOT AN AIRLINE! We already went through this with United failed execs

More people to waste company money on site visits. We smile when you are here but really don't want you around.

Can’t give the people who have been slaving for this company for years a raise??

Yet-you create new positions at the top and over pay them.

Yet, you wonder why the culture is so bad. Kick the horses harder! That’s the Hertz way!

You can continue to travel around the world and we will all put a show on for you because you gave us the heads up that you’re coming. We are lucky to have a job with Hertz.

Just close the doors already.

Btw-Tiny Tim said thank you.
