I found this site just in time to reply to this.
It was NOT done in a professional manner, and anyone who thinks that is either the one doing it, or they're believing the lies being told to cover up how bad it is. I went through it, and they do nothing but lie and evade questions. They provide no information.
You'd think they'd have learned something in 2020, but clearly not. They've only gotten worse.
Anyone still hanging on should tighten the purse strings, book a repat ASAP, and don't count on the myhome calculations for layoffs. That number is a lie. I was warned about this by someone else and they were right. Don't trust anything they tell you, and if they try to tell you something, demand it in writing, or go back yourself and summarize what you understood and ask them to confirm it in email. They won't, but you'll have evidence should you decide to file a suit.
Also, I want to address this story that it was only under performing expats let go. Everyone I know, including myself, was laid off after years of E/E+. I assumed after more than ten years, I'd be reasonably safe since I was a solid performer (yes, I know that was foolish in hindsight, but I had no reason to think otherwise).
I know of a handful of people let go who had an M in 2023, and those people had years of E/E+ before that, but had something happen with management in 2023 that made it clear someone knew these were coming, and they were posturing to get people on a list without consequences. Sure there were likely some under performers, but it's really odd that suddenly a bunch of people were rated as "low performers" just in time to get laid off when there have been people getting Ms for years, especially right after a promotion.
