I’m not sure how much longer we can handle the current workload with our team down by at least three people - and let me reemphasize, that’s at the very least. We’re stretched thin, and it’s only getting harder. Is there a hiring freeze in place, or is there something else going on that I’m not aware of?

Nah that’d undercut FLDs $10M/year gains.
"backfilling positions"
You can backfill the hole to street level. Now, go and hire more IT Indian mafia soldiers.
They couldn't even finish designing useless career paths, they only did some people with more by end of year in phase two which didn't happen. None of which ended up with rightsizing pay for those that were "aligned." More bullsh-t failures.
"They design useless career paths"
of couse they do - it goes along with the "useless products"
backfilling is not the solution - not RIFing skilled and dedicated employees is the solution.
They are gearing up for yet another RIF....
Well .That's not true if you belong to leadership roles!! I got to know that a client manager from Vendor received double promotion and now a Senior Director.

There's no way to progress in this company
All that we hear is that there is no budget for this; there is no budget for that. Yet they claim the company achieves outstanding results. They design useless career paths. There's no way to progress in this company. Any email you read, especially from higher managers or HR, is full of nonsense.
I’d be there working still if I could just because Unemployment pays so very little; but at least they finally determined F5’s “Misconduct” termination was absolute horsesh-t and I can’t wait to lawyer up for some $$$
Happy NY and fu-k F5. :)
A lot of open reqs that were still recruiting for or that had verbal offers out on have been pulled. Doubt you'll get backfill unless it's in India.
