@143y Spoken by someone that clearly knows what a s hole is. Glass houses.
HR thobe troll, do you have any actual insight rather than adolescent personal insults?
@1sk why don’t u f off then to whatever s hole you’re from
We all know what’s next
Repat allowance was cut by approx 30%.
What was factually cut?
Yes, they dropped this on us. They don’t honor contracts. All new hires got a surprise for Christmas.
Hey, is this real? I got a 'hypothetical offer's pre Christmas with a higher travel allowance than the official one 6 weeks later, the amount dropped by 35% and they said it applies to everyone, existing and new?
That's funny right there! I don't care who you are! Who doesn't love it when thobes eat their own!
Actually the government hate Aramco management and vice-verse. Anything to get one over each other is treated as a national sport. The local labor courts so sometimes rule against Aramco, this doesn’t get publicised and typically leads to some kind of payoff.
Don't get me wrong friend. I am on your side, but I kind of think that Aramco is the law, so to speak. At least in KSA. Their country, their oil, their company...IMO.
It’s official. See slimy two faced announcement from HR that paints it as some kind of improvement. My Repat payment is now 30% less than last year..
What kind of company cuts contractual employment benefits without any consultation to staff?
Lawsuits beckon. Aramco thinks it’s above the law.
Shady practice. Why do they behave like this?
They reversed the EAP travel payment that was expected to be paid in December and deferred it to January so the lowered amount will get paid. People were planning on this. 💔💔
I tried to do a dummy repat and can no longer access that or my payslips. Seems someone has cut off my access…
Typo. - Repat pay $23K for myself and family. Total reduction now is 30% less than before.
Check under ‘e leave’ for your case.
What do you mean yours was $23?
Easy - For clarity; login to your leave management under my home and submit a dummy repat leave and check what it gives you.
Mine was $23 before to North America now dropped to $4,600.
Well… Thanks Aramco !!
Filing a grievance is a shortcut to being laid off. Don’t waste your time unless you want to get out. Facts and the truth mean nothing, the entire process is overseen my mafia types.
EAP travel is typically paid in December pay check. The pay was reversed and not paid with no communication. It is now scheduled to be paid in January. Will this also be cut in half? If we file a grievance do we get retaliation and then laid off?
So to confirm, this is just the repat payment part? Is EAP, SAIP part of this? What about severance payments?
If they change these terms on a whim then aramco cannot be trusted for even a pay check. Operating like a third world tin pot operation, which it clearly now is. This needs to hit the share price.
So many new expats are at Aramco just for EAP. Will that stay too?
If everyone quits enmasse the company is Forked.
friends, if you came to saudi arabia expecting protections from labor law...lol
expats just need to leave. that's what the fat slippery prince who heads HR&CS wants. and to be honest it's well within their rights. it's their country, their resource, their choice. no one should have come here expecting otherwise.
It's not a rumour. It has happened. Is this legal under Saudi employment law? As far as I'm aware the repat payments were never specified as being variable.
So they will be moving everyone to new Ts&Cs, without any consultation or grandfathering rights?
So many expats will just quit on the spot, is this for real or rumor?
What do you mean exactly by allowances? EAP, EAP travel, repat, global over base?
This affects ALL employees, not just new joiners.
New recruits only. The latest sales pitch being made to expats is the chance to move closer to Mecca. Says it all.
Will this be only for new recruits or will it affect current employees?
HR complain about retention issues yet they introduce new policies on a whim. New joiners who were sold repat as another aspect of their salary benefits have had the rug taken from under them before they start, old timers are getting whacked and HR has terrible communication about it. The senior expats in HR knew this was happening yet kept their mouths quiet and let it continue. They have their eyes on their own retirement plans this coming year or next. When they go, we know the party is truly over
No communication on a huge change to our work contract. That is standard dar al izlam practice for its aramco expat slaves. Find a lawyer…can’t, Sharia. Find a Christmas market to enjoy something real. Can’t. Illegal here. If I vacation at one, Magdeburg, Germany. Add this repat ripoff to the long list of reasons to leave: raises that do not keep up with inflation, retirement plan reductions, education assistance not keeping up with increasing school prices, no promotion, no respect, growing animosity, growing discrimination, growing fuel prices, growing camp filth, growing pollution, worsening office space…I hope I get the family out of here by plane before it goes Rhodesia. If they don’t care about Palestinians i am sure they aren’t gonna care about me.
