Problem with that data is that it ignores Ricky and the need to cut cheap.
If you dig through this site you will see that 5 day in office has fallen from 50% of companies to 32% over the last year. So people can keep saying it’s the future but the trend is clearly otherwise.

They'd never be able to enforce that. Too many people would quit and if they fired the remaing people who didn't come to the office there wouldn't be anyone left to do the work. The RTO policy is like your HOA. They can threaten you but if you ignore them there's basically nothing they can do.
If the market takes a downturn this year, you better believe we will be in office 5 days a week. Continue that forced attrition to save some cash.
