Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

A special request to those left in the wake

To those who remain.... please speak truth to power. We won't have a severance waiting for us to pad the fall but here we are, the survivors of a rapture. "Yes men" created the situation we are left to face and critical thought and honest feedback will make life better for us who are left to make sense of the voids.

To the person who wrote about Menti etc.
Remember, that whatever you write on Teams in big C - is not anonymous - I've seen Admins being able to look into any historical chat unencrypted.

Why we now need to speak truth? We spoke in the past and we were not heard.
LT fired thousand to fulfill their goals. Now it's their time to show leadership, planning skills, strategy and so on.
I think it actually time to lay low until things settle...but off course if you have the chance to make a difference without expose your job, so do it.

It's the LT time to play. Let them play and get some popcorn.

You guys need therapy. You probably should have been laid off writing a wacko post like this. Get a grip. People get laid off. That's life. Good luck finding an employer that would sign a contract that prevents you from being at risk of layoffs.

Here’s a revised version of your text with improved grammar, clarity, and flow:

Does anyone remember Menti? Well, they claimed it was removed due to cost, but the truth is they didn’t like the fact that feedback was anonymous, and they were faced with tough, honest questions—not the convenient ones typically addressed in Town Halls.

Here’s another anecdote: someone in IT shared feedback about the changes. Guess who ended up being part of the first layoff rounds? Essentially, they told him, “You’re not aligned with the vision we’re pursuing, plus we’re shifting IT operations to other locations and focusing on different skill sets.”
